LL Cool J & Le Coq Sportif NEED LOVE
LL Cool J is the first rapper to reach the top of the US pop charts with his romantic song “I need Love”. It’s a mainstream break-out for a rap song.
In 1987, the young rapper wrote this song when he was 18 contemplating his situation in his grandmother’s basement.
At that time the brand was alive, LL Cool J is wearing Le Coq Sportif in the video.

& Le Coq Sportif present: JUICE! vol.01
Since 2001, the French magazine Clark has been exploring and decrypting all the new urban trends, be it music, fashion, sport or graphic design. As a reflection of the magazine and the Clark parties (USR & Juice) organised regularly at the mythical Rex Club in Paris, a soundtrack to the new international club scene, the Clark compilation is as cutting edge as it is exhaustive without being elitist. Far from being simply the soundtrack of a Parisian generation, this compilation demonstrates a panorama of music, recent or old, which makes people dance from London to New-York, Barcelona to Berlin with the obvious stop off in Paris, crowds which are as heteroclite as eclectic, curious and demanding. Hype, which is cool but not trendy, global and fresher than ever.
2001-2007. Six years of Clark parties and a variety of guest artists on more than 30 events, the cream of the crop of this new national and international club scene : A-Trak, Klever, Dj Assault, Dj Eleven (The Rub), Cash Money, Bobbito Garcia, Dj Craze, Aaron Lacrate, TTC, Busy P, Justice, Feadz, Dj Mehdi, Goon & Koyote, Arthur King, Dj Pone, DaveOne (Chromeo), Coconut Twins, Bobmo, Surkin, Orgasmic, Dj Raze, Kid Rolex, John B Rambo, Siskid, Cuizinier, Klub des Loosers, Dabaaz, dDamage, Dj Shone, Don Rimini… And of course Kazey, eminent resident and co-author of this compilation. Be it behind the decks or “live”, with their talent, their passion and their good vibes, all have contributed to make the success of these parties and spread their reputation much further than the boundaries of its capital.
JUICE!, vol.1 : 15 exclusive tracks (B-more, electro, rap, booty…), coming from all around the world. The first volume of this compilation, a collaboration with the Disque Primeur label, is the reflection of our current musical era, full of energy and creative happiness. Enjoy !
